Perseus 3 was launched in 2015 as the second hull in Perini Navi’s series of 60 metre cruiser-racers and is offered for sale with Fraser and Perini Navi USA. The 58.6 metre sailing yacht features a sloop-rig with an ultra-lightweight carbon fibre mast that stands 78 metres tall – one of the tallest rigs ever built – while an impressive 10,000 square metre sail plan allows her to reach a top speed of 15.5 knots. When she hit the water in 2015, her spinnaker was the largest single sail in the world, measuring 2,602 square metres – bigger than all 15 of Maltese Falcon’s sails combined.
Her enhanced rig makes her highly attuned to regatta competition and is a proven champion on the superyacht racing circuit. She can often be spotted leading the fleet round a mark at the Perini Navi Cup or St Barths Bucket.
When she’s not charging around the racecourse, Perseus 3 can sleep up to 12 guests in a flexible five-cabin layout, comprising a full-beam master suite with a lounge and private study area, two VIP cabins, and two twins with additional Pullman berths. On deck, guests can enjoy a heated foredeck pool with counter-current jets, a flybridge BBQ and an al fresco dining table protected from the elements by a curve of glass.
Perseus 3 is asking €27,500,000 and is jointly listed for sale with Fraser and Perini Navi USA
